It's My LIFE

And soo,I am back from It's My LIFE! Camp as a facilitator.And one word for it- AWESOME.Hmm..shall publish a long post for myself.

A month plus of preparation led us,the pioneer batch of Teens aLIVE stidents,to this time that I have been looking forward to.Hours have been put into making the camp happen.Nights burnt to come up with proper proposals.
The publicity comm(Shazana & Muhaimin) did a good job getting the year 1-3 TA students to participate.And what a great number of people we have.
The admin comm (Hij & Syiqa) gave us neat and arranged documents to work with,and even turned our ehem documents into wonderful pieces of work.Without them,we'd have been so exhausted just trying to arrange things in proper order.
The logistics (Amirul,and his faithful followers (Hahaha explain later!),Shahrin,Muhammad & Farhan) worked real hard to get all the stuffs that are needed for activities,not to mention the meals and tea breaks in between.Sadly,some of the activities were modified and the poor handsome guys had a hard time getting new materials.You're awesome,guys :)
The facilitators comm (that's us) also put in sooo much effort into getting facis from the fityan members.Though unfortunately many were involved in the Camp Explore next week.The heads (Adibah & me) are very pleased with those who were able to commit.
And the programmers (Syahmi Riz Nadhirah Dayat Filzah) have all worked so really hard to come up with activities (3D2N) that the participants were able to enjoy.
Last but not least,who above all really deserve mention are our mentors, Ustazah Raihanah,Uztaz Ahmad,Sisters Nazihah,Liyana,Fathi and Brothers Hamzah,Helfi,Fahmi,Azra'ie,Hafiz.Without them,I doubt very much that the camp will have turned out to be a satisfying success.
They're the amazing youths who guided us through without any sign of impatience.

Day 1

Reached MDG at 1700,to have a discussion before the arrival of the campers.Sadly,Adibah was only able to attend the next day as she had just returned from her pre-U seminar.Then,Ustaz Ahmad led us with the recital of prayers before the official commencement of the camp.How exciting.However,as the admin team were unable to make it for the camp,I took over their job to register the participants.They are soooo adorable,especiall Huzaifah and Akram!!12 year-old kids in a teens' camp!After which,I asked Khalid to take over coz I wanted to mix around with the girl participants.
Played some ice-breaker games,to get them to know each other better and for me to familiarise myself with their names.Not bad,they were an amazing lot.Responsive.I think my lame jokes helped a little :)
The girls and boys were led to Khawarazmi room for some activities,after which we solat Maghrib before breaking them into their respective groups (1,2,3 and 4).Farhana and Kak Mar took grp 1 (later known as FTC For The Champions),Ameerul took grp 2 (later known as Kaleidoscope),I took grp 3 and Khalid took grp 4 (Freedom).Interacted with them,and got to know their names.
Shafinaz 13 (Shaz's sister,who's so proactive,just like her sister),Zubair 14 aka ZubZub *explanation later (Adibah's bro,who looks shy but really he's veeeeery sporting),Sufian 14 (Syahmi's bro,he's a little quiet yet loveable,just like his brother),Zaki 16 (awesome boy :D,and he calls me Teacher,even though we're a year apart hahahah),Alif 14 (OMG love this boy,coz he reminds me never to judge a book by its cover,and I understood him almost immediately coz he looks like a matrep),Suhaila 15 (Korean fan OMGGG),Nazirah 15 (she has manymany facial expressions,which were enjoyable to observe) and Aisyah 15 (who is veeery quiet,but like ZubZub,she is sporting:D). Our group name is TEAM AWESOME! which really fits the group :D Coz they're awesome like that.Had dinner,where I made them talk to each other,and they clicked really well.AWESOME.And ZubZUb became the eating champion!He was the first to complete his meal.
I noticed that Farhan,Shahrin and Muhammad kept tailing Amirul!And they got their nickname,The Followers!HAHAHAHAH.But pity them,they had soooo much stuffs to do.
Anw,I find that me and Zaki loooooooove to disturb ZubZub and Alif.Hahaha though they will somehow get us back sheesh.Solat Isyak then we had more ice breakers like Ustaz Ahmad's FAVOURITE game called Za.OMG COOL GAME.The we played Who am I?,where names of different famous/infamous ppl were pasted on their foreheads,and they had to guess who they were armed with Yes or No answered questions.Finaz got Adolf Hitler,and she doesn't know who that man is!!And faiz was JUSTIN BIEBER HAHAHA.Faris was Jessica Alba!!!Hot perrrr.Muhaimin got Megan Fox (HAHAHAHA).Apparently,ZubZub was being eyed by some girls coz he is handsome,and when he got Hady Mirza the girls swooned.And they think I didnt see HAHAHAHAHA.
At 2200,we had Campfire planning till 2300.OMG the crazy ideas I come up with kinda tells them the kind of person I am?And they loved me nevertheless.Sweet kids :D
Then at 2300,we had Scavenger Hunt.Amirul as Logistics person gave me looooots of clues hehe.But I refuse to give them to the Awesomers,coz its just cheating!!But,we got like a number of items,which wasnt shabby :D I then debriefed them,and gave them overview of day 2's activities and instructions to Wash-up and Light Out at 0145.At 0145,the comm headed to Nawawi room for some discussion and briefing.
Helfi is the Camp Commandant and Fahmi is the assistant!Woohoo :) Omg here I realised how much I actually loved the people I'm with.Poor syahmi though,coz he had a lot to think for programmes,but he's cool.Coz a duck doesn't quack under pressure :D Then the organising team had OUR Lights Out at almost 3:)
And it's sooooo cold.

Day 2

Rise & Shine at 0500,and washed up and packed up and headed to solat hall at 0530 for Subuh prayers.Finally,I got to pray subuh at the mosque.I can't go on weekdays coz of safety reasons,sheesh.Ibu,pls just one day per week :D
Anw,after Subuh there's further wash-up,and the participants got their bags to the multi-purpose hall.We then had morning exercises outside the mosque.I like :D Shafinaz loves to sing using the weird voice that she makes,hahahah funny girl:D
Then breakfast till 0815, and flag-making till 0900.Wow,TEAM AWESOME's flag is simply...AWESOME :D
Boarded the bus at 0915,and off we go to Yishun Safra!At 1000,reached Yishun Safra and we checked the participants' attendance, after which the Safra personnel briefed us on the activities they have arranged for us.
1115 and we had Low Elements activities,like the No Man's Island.Just creative,man,these babes.Use shoes campak sana,campak sini then hit their goal...AWESOME.And i was known as the jungle girl coz I swing with 'perfect balance'.Hahaha what can I say,I just love these kinda activities.
At 1345,Zohor prayers at the function room theeeeeeen MAKAN TIME till 1415,then we haaaad....HIGH ELEMENTS!Canopy Walk,Abseiling and Rock CLimbing,though we didn't get to do rock climbing due to lack of time :( Alif was the saddest,LIKE REAL.HAHAHAHAH.
So,went for Canopy Walk,and we catwalked in midair one by one.I'm proud of Nazirah,coz she overcome her fear of heights,kinda.But still,great improvement,honey:D And Zaki pro ah,damn fast that boy!ZubZub too,only Alif is a little scared but it's ok,understandable.But sufian didnt get to do coz his shoe got spoiled after some activites :( But it's alright,coz he doesnt want to do anw hahahah.So,after Zaki ZubZub Suhailah Shafinaz Aisyah and Nazirah,I went.And Alif's behind me,and everytime the wire shook,I knew Alif's on the line too ;) He's so cute!Everytime I gave him some motivation,he'll make this face that makes me want to pinch his cheeks!So cute.
When I stepped onto the line,Amirul,Hamzah and Hafiz's voices were so noisy!And they were on the ground and I was metres up in the air!That is saying something!
"Come on,farizah!We know you can catwalk all the way through!"
"You strong,fa!I think you can carry Amirul and still complete the challenge with him on your back!"
"Come on,dear,just think of me and you can make it!"*Fiz,this ain't the way to flirt yo!And I told him some better ways,though he disagreed hahahah*
And sooo,we completed the walk.Hurray TEAM AWESOME!
Then,we were supposed to abseil.So we waited for the previous grp to complete before it's our turn.The girls,including myself,put on our harnesses and made our way up.Brother Ayub is already up there to assist us.And he thought I was a lower secondary school kid!And tried to flirt,but I told him he failed hahahah.That ain't the way to flirt,bro,learn from Hafiz :D Abseiling was fun,seriously!I don't mind doing the activities again and again!:D We were supposed to rock climb,but to ZubZub and Zaki's (but not Alif's) utter despair,we couldn't.Sorry,honeys,short on time.Nice that you all understand :D
Then at 1700,went to function room to solat Asar.I was amazed at the boy who did the Iqamat,wonderful voice :D At 1730,I debriefed the Awesomers on the activities that we did,and coz they warmed up even more,they became more responsive!Love them man.Then crapped all the way to 1830,where they we given time to wash up before Maghrib at 1930.Theeeen,it was MAKAN TIME,where ZubZub became the eating Champion yet again.I think he has a pitless stomach.
Then Isyak prayers.The items that we discussed abt were performed after Isyak,and I must say that the Awesomers are just AWESOME!We got the best item!!Baik ah,TEAM AWESOME!:D In the skit,we changed Zubair's name to ZubZub and told him to tuck in his shirt and pull his pants up to his waist,coz I (yeah,me) thought it was juuuust adorable for him to act as a nerd!And he's cool with it.Sporting or whaaaat.Oh and I asked Sufian and Alif to tuck in their shirts and pull their pants up to their waist too.But Alif and Sufian were sooooo against it.So tak pasal ah,I don't mind.Buuuut,when it was their turn to act,they actually tucked in their shirts and pulled their pants way high up!After,I asked them why they changed their minds.
Their reply, "Coz you want us to tuck in what,Kak.So we tuck in lah,make you happy." Awwww,AWESOME lah you ppl.But the happy time had to end at the moment,coz we had night walk IN THE FOREST behind the Safra not long after.Cik Hussein briefed us on the safety rules and pointers that we have to stick to.We were supposed to walk at the path that they made (marked by red and white tapes) that cuts thought the forest with no proper path,that is to say we are just walking through a random route.After,Muhaimin briefed us on the arrangement of extras and facis.I'm with my own group,of course.And Muhaimin assigned himself to our group.Oh man,I want Amirulllllll.Nvm lahh.
As facilitator,I'm supposed to stay at the front of the group,and I am the only one with torchlight.And I'm not supposed to use it,except to look out for the next red and white tape.So led them through,and got attacked by vicious black ants!And my boy Zaki got attacked by a bug and left his neck scarred.The route itself is dark,eerie and zig-zaggy.But honestly,it is not scary.Oh well,I had brave ppl behind me hahah.Only they panic easily!!!
Then,there is mass reflection on the night walk till 0100.Then group reflection and debrief.The campers then washed up,and Lights Out at 0145 for them,girls and guys at separate function rooms.Omg had a hard time telling the campers to sleep!Oh well,still hyped up coz of the camp cheer hahah.
Then the organisers had meeting again till abt 0200.Discussed on some stuffs,then lights out for us at 0230.But we spent some time looking through pictures that Shaz took.700+ photos man hahahah!Funny funny photos!Chose some for the video montage to be shown at the end of camp.Make them paiseh hahaahh!

Day 3

Woke up at 0530 washed up and Subuh prayers at 0600.Then Ustaz Ahmad gave a short tazkirah on parents.Then he led us with recital of prayers.Whoa,I wanted to cry man.Sooo...indescribable.Ustaz awesome ah :D
At 0800,MAKAN TIME for us!And as usual,ZubZub is the eating Champion,yet again hahahah.At 0900,AIR RIFLE time!!!:D Cool ke perrr!I had fun disturbing the campers when they're shooting.
"Oh mak kau mummy!"
"Whop eh Don't disturb ah Kak!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
But it turned out that shooting is just not for TEAM AWESOME hahahah.Then we had a facilitators' competition,where they cheered me on even when I missed.And I caused them to lose their points hehe.
"It's alright,you did great,Kak!It's just for fun!So,no worries man!" *AWW*
Then we had telematch.Ok,that was cool.
Station 1. Pictionary!

Amirul told me of the many stuffs in the boxes.Chicken heart,toothpaste,mee goreng with soup and well,other stuffs hehe but all they has to do was just find a REALLY,REALLY SMALL pebble.
Station 3. Core Destruction
Plank for a minute!It's easy,but Zaki and Alif pro ah!
Station 4. WATER
This sounds like a job for ZubZub,the boy with pitless stomach, and Sufian,the thirsty one!
Station 5. Word Scramble!

They had loads of fun here,and so do I :D It's a reward in itself to just see them have fun :D Sighhhh :)
Then,lunch in function room and solat Zohor,the last solat jemaah together for the camp.I felt a little sad here :(
Finally,at 1445,there's a group debrief then mass debrief.Then prize presentation!TEAM AWESOME got the lowest points among the four groups buuuuut...we're still the AWESOMERS!And it's heartening to see them cheer each other on,even when they turned out to be the last group.Oh well,we AWESOME perrr :D
Then video montage,where there are LOADS of laughter!Coz epic pictures of ppl dozing off,ppl smiling with their eyes closed etc. We enjoyed ourselves very much.But well,I'm sad coz it had to end.But it's ok,we SHALL KEEP IN CONTACT!Oh and prize presentation!Best group is Khalid's,Freedom!Hahahah love to disturb him!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Khalid is awesome too,though not as awesome as me of course :D
Best guy facilitator is,of course,Khalid.And best girl facilitator is me!OMG I was quite shocked by the cheer I got from the campers!AWESOME or whaaaat!
"This faci not only shows good leadership,but she has also grown to be like a big sister to her campers within a day,giving them good advices and good pointers.But at the same time,she is also their friend who motivates them and supports them tirelessly.I guess you guys know who she is right??She is....*drum roll* Farizah!"
Hahaha Fahmi,suspense only ah!Hahahah,and the AWESOMERS were awesome,coz they were the loudest.Amirul laughed openly at me though,coz I almost tripped over some bottle.Childish ah lu!
Then there's the closing ceremony.Sad,sad.Alif so funny hahah.
"Kak,I alr feeling rindu ah."
"Ape,rindu girlfriend eh?"
"Tak ah,waste time aje ade girlfriend!"
"Good boy Alif,Kakak proud of you ah!But who you missing??"
"You ah!Padahal you still here!" *Cute or whaaaat!*

Anw,closing ceremony by Ustaz Ahmad with the recital of prayers,where I felt like crying.But it's alright,coz I know that I passed some good things for them to bring home at least :D
Bus ride home to MDG with the AWESOMERS (Amirul kpo),where I distributed their prizes.Lol they looked so tired,but happy.That's awesome :D I'm going to miss them sooooo much.And they missed me alr!I miss them too.Then,had a debrief on the camp,led by Kak Nazihah.What we thought abt our efforts,the sacrifices made,the lessons learnt from it.After,prayed Asar at MDG.I don't know why I felt this way,but the moment I stepped foot out of the multi-purpose hall with Shaz Adibah Khalid Amirul Muhaimin at 1845,I felt truly...satisfied.Like I actually did something great.TEAM AWESOME actually asked me if the camp could be extended.I would love to extend it,but it's not up to me right?The fact that they asked me that,it's saying something right?Oh well,I shan't elaborate.I think I'll remember this camp even if I don't keep a record of it.So we parted our ways,and I felt really sad.Oh well,I think I'm quite attached to my campers and my mates.Walked with Amirul to the interchange,where he refused to tell me something that he said he was going to tell me!nvm,I'll hunt him down!Hahahah.

This is totally worth 3 days of my time.Everything.No kidding.

With It's My LIFE Camp,I made strong Ukhuwah with many ppl,bonds that I won't ever break.It's very priceless to me.Not to mention the process that we went through to make the camp a success.An absolute success.The discussions with my TA mates,the discussions with my fityan brothers and sisters,the convos with Ustazah and Ustaz.Aww mann,it's just soooo...indescribable.I just hope that I gave the campers something to arm themselves with for challenges of the future.The talks with them,the jokes,the laughter,everything.It's very memorable.

It may be only 3 days,but I believe that we made Ukhuwah for a lifetime.

Yesterday (and today?) was a double joy for me.Hmm...battle of the giants.Or maybe a giant and one ex-giant?Well,looking at it,yeah.Seems like it.And so Germany won.And tried to sleep after,but couldn't.So,slept a little later than 1?Haha no,2 actually.Abah woke me up at 2++ to watch the other match.That was one heck of a game to watch.I immensely enjoyed it.Messi played like...whoa.Feet like lightning,I tell you.Lightning.I like the way the ball sticks to his feet like magnet.If only other matches are like that.Well,they're bound to be like that.Soon.And I want to see more tears,just like how the Italians shed some.And I realised they were so violent.Quite.Anw,the unexpected turn(s) of events makes it all the more exciting.Who'd expect England to not advance further.Actually,I did.And so'd everyone else who watched their every match.Disappointing.But I wonder why England's goal did not stand,coz it was really a goal.It wouldn't make any difference anyway.Oh wells,the wonders of World Cup.I wonder why it's called a cup,when the trophy's not a cup. It's going to get real spicy soon. I want to exchange jerseys with Lionel Messi. And Kaka. Speaking of Kaka,he's on tonight. Or rather tmr morning. Up,up and away

Hmm..ibu's planning a barbeque here at home with her anak buahs and my makciks and pakciks.Basically,everyone's coming here.I hope :) It'll be a mini one,not really big.But it's cool.Nenek's coming,hahaha excited eh?:) But problem is,I'll need to help out with the stuffs.And midyears is just a few days away?Yes?Sooo....how will I divide my time?Or should I just resort to my usual sleep-at-10-wake-up-at-2 routine till the end of exams?Waah,like that cannot tahan deyy.But what other choices do I have?Actually there's a lot more,but this is the one I'm looking at.No matter what,I feel kind of confident.That I can cover what I have to.And at LEAST get a B for everything.I won't allow any failures this time hahah.Even better.get As.Syok ah that one.Haa whatever it is,insyaAllah I can do it. :D I looove listening to Maher Zain.Voice is amazing. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 @ 11:15 PM Been busy this week.Skipped training today,coz I felt like it.And I went to Ayeshah's house,coz I felt like it.Adibah was there :D It's been a loooong time since I last met Shah's mum and dad. Anw,last Saturday went to Sella's hse.Met Cm,Dru,Ain,Shah and of course,Sella.Hmm...it's nice to see some very much missed faces at last. Went to Adibah's hse on Monday,meant as a surprise for Ayeshah.Apparently,Adibah has been saying that 'a friend's coming over',so Ayeshah was expecting 'a friend'.Then she saw it was me!Her face was epic!But I loved her reaction :D And met again today,had some chats,studied some stuffs.And dinner together with Shah's mum.Interesting chats :D Anw,me being me,I always reflect really deeply on things. Would my life be any different if I were posted NOT to tpjc?If I were posted elsewhere?I guess it would make a whole lot of difference.But it's only 2 years,and 2 years is really short,don't you think? But just coz I'm in tpjc doesn't mean I can't hang out with friends from other schools.Sometimes,I think it's better for me if I keep it that way. You've been given choices,and you choose it to be. You still question your decision nonetheless. However,whatever the path you choose, it is always the best for you. Trust me. Up,up and away
Sunday, June 13, 2010 @ 5:54 PM The Mall Heehee tired,but happy.Went shopping with family just now,and I must say it's an absolute failure,coz I didnt really find anything that I want.Got a cute scarf though :D Ate at PizzaHut first,then off we went.I must say,this is one of the very rare times where my temper is in check whilst in a shopping mall.A shopping mall,mind you.Well,the reason for that is coz maybe...I'm happy coz I felt some quality family time coming on.Not that we don't have them,but well,I was tired and this is like a break.A very much-needed break.Next saturday's going to be another session.I have to eat something sugary.Keep myself awake.Oh and maybe some froyo too.Keeps my temper below the surface.At the mall. :D Up,up and away

Everything happens for a reason,and sooner or later, people will find the answers that they seek. Be it good or bad. But before that,they must explore the world around them,for only then will doors for opportunities open. And most importantly, surround yourself with the people you love. Family,friends. Monday, June 7, 2010 @ 8:00 PM It's My LIFE. After this camp,I had some self-reflection.And I realised that I wanted to do something with my life.I'm going to change it. How much Ustaz loves us all,how much we love him. And many more All are like...my real brothers and sisters. I actually stared at them enjoying themselves,and smile to myself. Weird,I know,but I feel happy. It's just life-changing. I now know what I really want,and I know what I'm going to do. I'm not going to waste my time with unnecessary stuffs. Sunday, June 6, 2010 @ 9:04 PM It's My LIFE And soo,I am back from It's My LIFE! Camp as a facilitator.And one word for it- AWESOME.Hmm..shall publish a long post for myself. A month plus of preparation led us,the pioneer batch of Teens aLIVE stidents,to this time that I have been looking forward to.Hours have been put into making the camp happen.Nights burnt to come up with proper proposals. The publicity comm(Shazana & Muhaimin) did a good job getting the year 1-3 TA students to participate.And what a great number of people we have. The admin comm (Hij & Syiqa) gave us neat and arranged documents to work with,and even turned our ehem documents into wonderful pieces of work.Without them,we'd have been so exhausted just trying to arrange things in proper order. The logistics (Amirul,and his faithful followers (Hahaha explain later!),Shahrin,Muhammad & Farhan) worked real hard to get all the stuffs that are needed for activities,not to mention the meals and tea breaks in between.Sadly,some of the activities were modified and the poor handsome guys had a hard time getting new materials.You're awesome,guys :) The facilitators comm (that's us) also put in sooo much effort into getting facis from the fityan members.Though unfortunately many were involved in the Camp Explore next week.The heads (Adibah & me) are very pleased with those who were able to commit. And the programmers (Syahmi Riz Nadhirah Dayat Filzah) have all worked so really hard to come up with activities (3D2N) that the participants were able to enjoy. Last but not least,who above all really deserve mention are our mentors, Ustazah Raihanah,Uztaz Ahmad,Sisters Nazihah,Liyana,Fathi and Brothers Hamzah,Helfi,Fahmi,Azra'ie,Hafiz.Without them,I doubt very much that the camp will have turned out to be a satisfying success. They're the amazing youths who guided us through without any sign of impatience. Day 1 Reached MDG at 1700,to have a discussion before the arrival of the campers.Sadly,Adibah was only able to attend the next day as she had just returned from her pre-U seminar.Then,Ustaz Ahmad led us with the recital of prayers before the official commencement of the camp.How exciting.However,as the admin team were unable to make it for the camp,I took over their job to register the participants.They are soooo adorable,especiall Huzaifah and Akram!!12 year-old kids in a teens' camp!After which,I asked Khalid to take over coz I wanted to mix around with the girl participants. Played some ice-breaker games,to get them to know each other better and for me to familiarise myself with their names.Not bad,they were an amazing lot.Responsive.I think my lame jokes helped a little :) The girls and boys were led to Khawarazmi room for some activities,after which we solat Maghrib before breaking them into their respective groups (1,2,3 and 4).Farhana and Kak Mar took grp 1 (later known as FTC For The Champions),Ameerul took grp 2 (later known as Kaleidoscope),I took grp 3 and Khalid took grp 4 (Freedom).Interacted with them,and got to know their names. Shafinaz 13 (Shaz's sister,who's so proactive,just like her sister),Zubair 14 aka ZubZub explanation later (Adibah's bro,who looks shy but really he's veeeeery sporting),Sufian 14 (Syahmi's bro,he's a little quiet yet loveable,just like his brother),Zaki 16 (awesome boy :D,and he calls me Teacher,even though we're a year apart hahahah),Alif 14 (OMG love this boy,coz he reminds me never to judge a book by its cover,and I understood him almost immediately coz he looks like a matrep),Suhaila 15 (Korean fan OMGGG),Nazirah 15 (she has manymany facial expressions,which were enjoyable to observe) and Aisyah 15 (who is veeery quiet,but like ZubZub,she is sporting:D). Our group name is TEAM AWESOME! which really fits the group :D Coz they're awesome like that.Had dinner,where I made them talk to each other,and they clicked really well.AWESOME.And ZubZUb became the eating champion!He was the first to complete his meal. I noticed that Farhan,Shahrin and Muhammad kept tailing Amirul!And they got their nickname,The Followers!HAHAHAHAH.But pity them,they had soooo much stuffs to do. Anw,I find that me and Zaki loooooooove to disturb ZubZub and Alif.Hahaha though they will somehow get us back sheesh.Solat Isyak then we had more ice breakers like Ustaz Ahmad's FAVOURITE game called Za.OMG COOL GAME.The we played Who am I?,where names of different famous/infamous ppl were pasted on their foreheads,and they had to guess who they were armed with Yes or No answered questions.Finaz got Adolf Hitler,and she doesn't know who that man is!!And faiz was JUSTIN BIEBER HAHAHA.Faris was Jessica Alba!!!Hot perrrr.Muhaimin got Megan Fox (HAHAHAHA).Apparently,ZubZub was being eyed by some girls coz he is handsome,and when he got Hady Mirza the girls swooned.And they think I didnt see HAHAHAHAHA. At 2200,we had Campfire planning till 2300.OMG the crazy ideas I come up with kinda tells them the kind of person I am?And they loved me nevertheless.Sweet kids :D Then at 2300,we had Scavenger Hunt.Amirul as Logistics person gave me looooots of clues hehe.But I refuse to give them to the Awesomers,coz its just cheating!!But,we got like a number of items,which wasnt shabby :D I then debriefed them,and gave them overview of day 2's activities and instructions to Wash-up and Light Out at 0145.At 0145,the comm headed to Nawawi room for some discussion and briefing. Helfi is the Camp Commandant and Fahmi is the assistant!Woohoo :) Omg here I realised how much I actually loved the people I'm with.Poor syahmi though,coz he had a lot to think for programmes,but he's cool.Coz a duck doesn't quack under pressure :D Then the organising team had OUR Lights Out at almost 3:) And it's sooooo cold. Day 2 Rise & Shine at 0500,and washed up and packed up and headed to solat hall at 0530 for Subuh prayers.Finally,I got to pray subuh at the mosque.I can't go on weekdays coz of safety reasons,sheesh.Ibu,pls just one day per week :D Anw,after Subuh there's further wash-up,and the participants got their bags to the multi-purpose hall.We then had morning exercises outside the mosque.I like :D Shafinaz loves to sing using the weird voice that she makes,hahahah funny girl:D Then breakfast till 0815, and flag-making till 0900.Wow,TEAM AWESOME's flag is simply...AWESOME :D Boarded the bus at 0915,and off we go to Yishun Safra!At 1000,reached Yishun Safra and we checked the participants' attendance, after which the Safra personnel briefed us on the activities they have arranged for us. 1115 and we had Low Elements activities,like the No Man's Island.Just creative,man,these babes.Use shoes campak sana,campak sini then hit their goal...AWESOME.And i was known as the jungle girl coz I swing with 'perfect balance'.Hahaha what can I say,I just love these kinda activities. At 1345,Zohor prayers at the function room theeeeeeen MAKAN TIME till 1415,then we haaaad....HIGH ELEMENTS!Canopy Walk,Abseiling and Rock CLimbing,though we didn't get to do rock climbing due to lack of time :( Alif was the saddest,LIKE REAL.HAHAHAHAH. So,went for Canopy Walk,and we catwalked in midair one by one.I'm proud of Nazirah,coz she overcome her fear of heights,kinda.But still,great improvement,honey:D And Zaki pro ah,damn fast that boy!ZubZub too,only Alif is a little scared but it's ok,understandable.But sufian didnt get to do coz his shoe got spoiled after some activites :( But it's alright,coz he doesnt want to do anw hahahah.So,after Zaki ZubZub Suhailah Shafinaz Aisyah and Nazirah,I went.And Alif's behind me,and everytime the wire shook,I knew Alif's on the line too ;) He's so cute!Everytime I gave him some motivation,he'll make this face that makes me want to pinch his cheeks!So cute. When I stepped onto the line,Amirul,Hamzah and Hafiz's voices were so noisy!And they were on the ground and I was metres up in the air!That is saying something! "Come on,farizah!We know you can catwalk all the way through!" "You strong,fa!I think you can carry Amirul and still complete the challenge with him on your back!" "Come on,dear,just think of me and you can make it!"Fiz,this ain't the way to flirt yo!And I told him some better ways,though he disagreed hahahah* And sooo,we completed the walk.Hurray TEAM AWESOME! Then,we were supposed to abseil.So we waited for the previous grp to complete before it's our turn.The girls,including myself,put on our harnesses and made our way up.Brother Ayub is already up there to assist us.And he thought I was a lower secondary school kid!And tried to flirt,but I told him he failed hahahah.That ain't the way to flirt,bro,learn from Hafiz :D Abseiling was fun,seriously!I don't mind doing the activities again and again!:D We were supposed to rock climb,but to ZubZub and Zaki's (but not Alif's) utter despair,we couldn't.Sorry,honeys,short on time.Nice that you all understand :D Then at 1700,went to function room to solat Asar.I was amazed at the boy who did the Iqamat,wonderful voice :D At 1730,I debriefed the Awesomers on the activities that we did,and coz they warmed up even more,they became more responsive!Love them man.Then crapped all the way to 1830,where they we given time to wash up before Maghrib at 1930.Theeeen,it was MAKAN TIME,where ZubZub became the eating Champion yet again.I think he has a pitless stomach. Then Isyak prayers.The items that we discussed abt were performed after Isyak,and I must say that the Awesomers are just AWESOME!We got the best item!!Baik ah,TEAM AWESOME!:D In the skit,we changed Zubair's name to ZubZub and told him to tuck in his shirt and pull his pants up to his waist,coz I (yeah,me) thought it was juuuust adorable for him to act as a nerd!And he's cool with it.Sporting or whaaaat.Oh and I asked Sufian and Alif to tuck in their shirts and pull their pants up to their waist too.But Alif and Sufian were sooooo against it.So tak pasal ah,I don't mind.Buuuut,when it was their turn to act,they actually tucked in their shirts and pulled their pants way high up!After,I asked them why they changed their minds. Their reply, "Coz you want us to tuck in what,Kak.So we tuck in lah,make you happy." Awwww,AWESOME lah you ppl.But the happy time had to end at the moment,coz we had night walk IN THE FOREST behind the Safra not long after.Cik Hussein briefed us on the safety rules and pointers that we have to stick to.We were supposed to walk at the path that they made (marked by red and white tapes) that cuts thought the forest with no proper path,that is to say we are just walking through a random route.After,Muhaimin briefed us on the arrangement of extras and facis.I'm with my own group,of course.And Muhaimin assigned himself to our group.Oh man,I want Amirulllllll.Nvm lahh. As facilitator,I'm supposed to stay at the front of the group,and I am the only one with torchlight.And I'm not supposed to use it,except to look out for the next red and white tape.So led them through,and got attacked by vicious black ants!And my boy Zaki got attacked by a bug and left his neck scarred.The route itself is dark,eerie and zig-zaggy.But honestly,it is not scary.Oh well,I had brave ppl behind me hahah.Only they panic easily!!! Then,there is mass reflection on the night walk till 0100.Then group reflection and debrief.The campers then washed up,and Lights Out at 0145 for them,girls and guys at separate function rooms.Omg had a hard time telling the campers to sleep!Oh well,still hyped up coz of the camp cheer hahah. Then the organisers had meeting again till abt 0200.Discussed on some stuffs,then lights out for us at 0230.But we spent some time looking through pictures that Shaz took.700+ photos man hahahah!Funny funny photos!Chose some for the video montage to be shown at the end of camp.Make them paiseh hahaahh! Day 3 Woke up at 0530 washed up and Subuh prayers at 0600.Then Ustaz Ahmad gave a short tazkirah on parents.Then he led us with recital of prayers.Whoa,I wanted to cry man.Sooo...indescribable.Ustaz awesome ah :D At 0800,MAKAN TIME for us!And as usual,ZubZub is the eating Champion,yet again hahahah.At 0900,AIR RIFLE time!!!:D Cool ke perrr!I had fun disturbing the campers when they're shooting. "Oh mak kau mummy!" "Whop eh Don't disturb ah Kak!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA But it turned out that shooting is just not for TEAM AWESOME hahahah.Then we had a facilitators' competition,where they cheered me on even when I missed.And I caused them to lose their points hehe. "It's alright,you did great,Kak!It's just for fun!So,no worries man!" AWW Then we had telematch.Ok,that was cool. Station 1. Pictionary! Station 2. Mystery Box Amirul told me of the many stuffs in the boxes.Chicken heart,toothpaste,mee goreng with soup and well,other stuffs hehe but all they has to do was just find a REALLY,REALLY SMALL pebble. Station 3. Core Destruction Plank for a minute!It's easy,but Zaki and Alif pro ah! Station 4. WATER This sounds like a job for ZubZub,the boy with pitless stomach, and Sufian,the thirsty one! Station 5. Word Scramble! They had loads of fun here,and so do I :D It's a reward in itself to just see them have fun :D Sighhhh :) Then,lunch in function room and solat Zohor,the last solat jemaah together for the camp.I felt a little sad here :( Finally,at 1445,there's a group debrief then mass debrief.Then prize presentation!TEAM AWESOME got the lowest points among the four groups buuuuut...we're still the AWESOMERS!And it's heartening to see them cheer each other on,even when they turned out to be the last group.Oh well,we AWESOME perrr :D Then video montage,where there are LOADS of laughter!Coz epic pictures of ppl dozing off,ppl smiling with their eyes closed etc. We enjoyed ourselves very much.But well,I'm sad coz it had to end.But it's ok,we SHALL KEEP IN CONTACT!Oh and prize presentation!Best group is Khalid's,Freedom!Hahahah love to disturb him! "Eh,why do you like to disturb my group,farizah?So mean!" "Since when I disturb your group??We disturb and insult you and ONLY you!!HAHAHA!" "Whaaaaaat?That is so you farizah!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Khalid is awesome too,though not as awesome as me of course :D Best guy facilitator is,of course,Khalid.And best girl facilitator is me!OMG I was quite shocked by the cheer I got from the campers!AWESOME or whaaaat! "This faci not only shows good leadership,but she has also grown to be like a big sister to her campers within a day,giving them good advices and good pointers.But at the same time,she is also their friend who motivates them and supports them tirelessly.I guess you guys know who she is right??She is....drum roll Farizah!" Hahaha Fahmi,suspense only ah!Hahahah,and the AWESOMERS were awesome,coz they were the loudest.Amirul laughed openly at me though,coz I almost tripped over some bottle.Childish ah lu! Then there's the closing ceremony.Sad,sad.Alif so funny hahah. "Kak,I alr feeling rindu ah." "Ape,rindu girlfriend eh?" "Tak ah,waste time aje ade girlfriend!" "Good boy Alif,Kakak proud of you ah!But who you missing??" "You ah!Padahal you still here!" Cute or whaaaat! Anw,closing ceremony by Ustaz Ahmad with the recital of prayers,where I felt like crying.But it's alright,coz I know that I passed some good things for them to bring home at least :D Bus ride home to MDG with the AWESOMERS (Amirul kpo),where I distributed their prizes.Lol they looked so tired,but happy.That's awesome :D I'm going to miss them sooooo much.And they missed me alr!I miss them too.Then,had a debrief on the camp,led by Kak Nazihah.What we thought abt our efforts,the sacrifices made,the lessons learnt from it.After,prayed Asar at MDG.I don't know why I felt this way,but the moment I stepped foot out of the multi-purpose hall with Shaz Adibah Khalid Amirul Muhaimin at 1845,I felt truly...satisfied.Like I actually did something great.TEAM AWESOME actually asked me if the camp could be extended.I would love to extend it,but it's not up to me right?The fact that they asked me that,it's saying something right?Oh well,I shan't elaborate.I think I'll remember this camp even if I don't keep a record of it.So we parted our ways,and I felt really sad.Oh well,I think I'm quite attached to my campers and my mates.Walked with Amirul to the interchange,where he refused to tell me something that he said he was going to tell me!nvm,I'll hunt him down!Hahahah. This is totally worth 3 days of my time.Everything.No kidding. With It's My LIFE Camp,I made strong Ukhuwah with many ppl,bonds that I won't ever break.It's very priceless to me.Not to mention the process that we went through to make the camp a success.An absolute success.The discussions with my TA mates,the discussions with my fityan brothers and sisters,the convos with Ustazah and Ustaz.Aww mann,it's just soooo...indescribable.I just hope that I gave the campers something to arm themselves with for challenges of the future.The talks with them,the jokes,the laughter,everything.It's very memorable.
